The patterns that brought you here? They can change. Let's create that together.
Meet Sara Haynes, LMFT| Relationship and Individual Therapist in Denver and Virtually throughout Colorado
If you're here, something feels stuck. Maybe it's a pattern you keep repeating on your own. Maybe it's a cycle you and your partner can't seem to break.
You've probably wondered, " Is this just how it is? Am I the problem? Are we the problem?”
The truth is, your brain is doing exactly what it was built to do. It craves predictability, and it will look for familiar patterns to find it. That's not a weakness. That's wiring. And wiring can change.
Getting unstuck starts with slowing down, getting curious, and giving the right parts of you, or your relationship, the attention they've been asking for.
My approach…
you can expect that we'll explore your strengths, understand your relationship patterns, and navigate challenges with curiosity. My goal is for you to leave our sessions knowing that you're not a self-improvement project, but a worthy person on your own journey of growth.
-
I'll help you explore and process your experiences, fostering insight that leads to relief, deeper self-knowledge, and emotional connection to yourself and those around you.
-
I’ll honor and center your unique background, identity, and life experiences. Those experiences are an important context for what you are seeking support with.
All identities, relationships, and ways of being are welcomed, celebrated, and affirmed.
-
I bring my genuine, imperfect self to our work together, creating a low-pressure, comfortable space where you can also be yourself.
I believe healing happens when you feel truly safe, understood, and free to be open. As. relational oriented therapist, I believe healing happens when we feel those things whether with our therapist, friend, partner, or family.
Healing doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in relationship.
Credentials and Education
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over five years as an early childhood educator, which gave me deep insight into human development and attachment. This experience led me to pursue my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. Everything I do is rooted in attachment-based therapy and family systems theory. I've witnessed and experienced profound transformation through these proven approaches, and I believe they can work for you too!

You'll find me savoring life's slower moments. I love a good yoga flow, cuddles with my cat and pup, watching reality TV, spending time with loved ones, tending to my plants, reading in my hammock, and exploring Colorado's beautiful outdoors.
