Approach
Authentic - I bring my genuine, imperfect self to our work together, creating a low-pressure, comfortable space where you can also be yourself
Culturally sensitive - I’ll honor and center your unique background, identity, and life experiences
Process-oriented - I'll help you explore and process your experiences, fostering insight that leads to relief and deeper self-knowledge
Inclusive - All identities, relationships, and ways of being are welcomed, celebrated, and affirmed
Safety-focused - I believe healing happens when you feel truly safe, understood, and free to be open.
When we work together, you can expect that we'll explore your strengths, understand your relationship patterns, and navigate challenging areas with confidence and curiosity. My goal is for you to leave our sessions knowing that you're not a self-improvement project, but a worthy person on your own beautiful journey of growth and discovery.
Credentials and Education
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over five years as an early childhood educator, which gave me deep insight into human development and attachment. This experience led me to pursue my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northeastern Illinois University. I'm a licensed LMFT in both Colorado and Illinois, with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals and couples change negative patterns and increase emotional security and connection. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and the Gottman Method for couples into my Denver-based practice. Everything I do is rooted in attachment-based therapy and family systems theory. I've witnessed and experienced profound transformation through these proven approaches, and I believe they can work for you too!
Outside of the therapy office
You'll find me savoring life's slower moments. I love a good yoga flow, cuddles with my cat, watching reality TV, spending time with loved ones, tending to my plants, reading in my hammock, and exploring Colorado's beautiful outdoors.
